His debut single, I Can't Take It Back, released in October 2021, was met with instant success, garnering over half a million streams on Spotify, recognition from renowned DJ Gerard Ekdom on Radio 10, and a position in the TOP 50 on NPO Radio 2 Soul & Jazz. NPO Radio 2's Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte endorsed the single, describing it as 'Funk with a capital F!'. The success of I Can't Take It Back earned TOINE a contract with Amsterdam-based Vokall Records. His debut EP was launched via Vokall on June 10, 2022, with a triumphant release show at Paard van Troje. Within less than a year, the EP amassed an impressive 3.8 million streams and 100,000 monthly listeners. The track, True Love, receives daily airplay on Sublime FM and NPO 2. This successful EP has paved the way for a collaboration with the Dutch division of American music publisher, Warner Chappell. Currently, TOINE is diligently working on his second EP, with a new single ready for release.
