Marlon Pichel, born and raised in Rotterdam, is a versatile musician who effortlessly navigates the boundaries of different genres. As a singing drummer with a fiery passion for Southern soul, he reveals himself on stage as a force to be reckoned with. The combination of rhythmic virtuosity and a raw, soulful voice has quickly earned him a prominent place in the Dutch music scene. With every beat of the drums, a contagious smile, and an irresistible energy, he brings the spirit of the '60s to life, enchanting his audience in a haze of musicality.

In 2023, he released his critically acclaimed debut album Good Ol' Loving, which was enthusiastically received by both radio and television. Each track is steeped in influences from the southern states of America, inspired by soul legends like Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett, yet always infused with Marlon's unique sound that shines through in every note.

Some even call him "The Upcoming King of Rock & Soul," a title he more than lives up to with his explosive live performances. Together with his seven-piece band, enhanced by a powerful horn section and a solid rhythmic foundation, Marlon transports his listeners back to the glory days of soul and rock 'n' roll. He creates a refreshing yet timeless experience, where the nostalgic sounds of the deep South seamlessly blend with the present. With his unmistakable charisma and profound love for soul, he immerses his audience in a musical ecstasy that lingers long after the final note.

Early 2025, he’ll be hitting the road on a club tour in anticipation of his newest album.
