Maestro achieved worldwide recognition in the 2000s with his platinum-certified Blue Note Trip compilation series for Blue Note Records. In the 2010s, he toured extensively following the release of his official remixes of Nina Simone’s debut album, Little Girl Blue. 

More recently, he ventured into deeper waters with a series of albums for Black Hole Recordings called Deep Trip. Yes, that’s a dance label! Here, Maestro showcases his flair for more danceable, yet distinctly jazzy club music. In between DJing across all five continents, he still found time to launch his own online station, Jazz Radio by Maestro, organize concerts, and dig through record stores worldwide to expand his massive vinyl collection.
