Kruidkoek is a young boy’s dream gone wild. Four friends that get their pleasure out of making music without any concessions. Always motivating each other to take everything one step further. Their own obscure mix of jazz, rock, improvised light shows and a huge dose of improvisation and humor makes every show into a surprise, even for the band itself.

In the past few years the band has explored both the alternative and jazz scenes. They took part in the Popronde and played shows in venues like Melkweg, Bimhuis and Paradiso. With poet Joost Oomen they even developed a special educational program focused on children of all ages.

Their third album will be released in October 2023.
